Big news for summer — India’s biggest fantasy sports game will be the naming rights partner for Super Smash 2019/20, as NZC’s official partner for this season’s competition.
The new partnership will have an exciting spinoff for Central Stags and Hinds supporters who will be able to create their own fantasy teams on Dream11 and compete with friends for double the fun.
Already the official fantasy game partner of the IPL, Big Bash League and NBA (among others), Dream11 was founded in 2008 and has more than 70 million users worldwide.
Broadcast live into India as well as NZ, this year’s Super Smash starts on Friday 13 December 2019 — when the Central Hinds play the Canterbury Magicians in Lincoln and our reigning champions the Central Stags host the Knights at Napier’s McLean Park. In all there’ll be 64 games, with even more men’s and women’s T20 doubleheaders this summer.
NZC chief executive David White said the partnership with Dream11 would significantly increase Super Smash fan engagement and create massive exposure for the men and women who participate in it.
“This is an excellent development for our Super Smash competition; we’re delighted to attract a partner of the calibre of Dream11,” said White today.
It’s super easy for all kiwis to involve themselves in the fantasy game for the 2019/20 Dream11 by logging on at www.dream11.com. Read the instructions before selecting your teams for each match — iOS and Android Dream11 apps are also available.

Dream11 was founded in 2008 by Harsh Jain and Bhavit Sheth and was recognised as one of the top 10 innovative companies in India by Fast Company in 2019.
During the 2019 IPL final, Dream11 entered the Guiness Book of Records for creating the largest online fantasy cricket match – with more than 10 million fantasy teams in play.
