Central Districts Cricket has announced its first 13 players to be offered contracts for the Devon Hotel Central Stags ahead of the 2016/17 season.

With only a few changes from 2015/16 the Stags boast a strong list of proven talent. All eight Cricket Districts within the Central Districts region are represented by players on the list.

Ryan McCone, left-arm medium-fast bowler, from Canterbury, has joined the list and will be representing the Horowhenua Kapiti District Cricket Association.

Blair Tickner, who last season gained an elevated contract, has been rewarded with his first full domestic contract offer.

The Devon Hotel Central Stags can also call on the services of NZC contracted players Ross Taylor, Doug Bracewell, Adam Milne and George Worker.
