Central Districts A Men is back in action with two home matches this Thursday and Friday against the NZC New Zealand Development squad

Taranaki's Jordan Gard captains a A team playing a 50-over and T20 contest across the two days this week, both matches free admission at Donnelly Park, Levin from 10.30am.

With Hawke's Bay also set to host Canterbury Country in the Zone 3 Hawke Cup Challenge Match at Napier's Nelson Park from Friday until Sunday, many of Hawke's Bay's players are unavailable for the A squad this week but there's an exciting debut for CD age-group youngster LOGAN RYNIKER-DOULL who makes his senior CD A debut fresh off his match-winning century in the final of the 2024 Chapple Cup for champion Hawke's Bay over Wairarapa.

2024 CHAPPLE CUP CHAMPIONS HAWKE'S BAY

This year's Chapple and Cave Cups produced plenty of welcome surprises with Wairarapa having made the Chapple Cup Final for the first time in 30 years, and Horowhenua-Kāpiti claiming the Cave Cup after defeating Taranaki for the silverware.

Hawke's Bay players will also be in action over the two days in Levin this week - for the New Zealand Development XI, with SAM CASSIDY and TYLER ANNAND representing the side this summer.

Central Districts is coached by ALDIN SMITH with Horowhenua-Kāpiti local ARTHA PRADOBHA assisting, and Manawatū's MASON HUGHES coming in for Friday's T20 only.
