Plenty of cricket for Central Districts A Women continues to be on the menu as the squad backs up last weekend's trip to Hamilton with two away matches this Sunday and Monday against Wellington A, in Johnsonville.

A late change to the latest A squad has also been brought about by an injury in the CENTRAL HINDS team yesterday.

EMILY CUNNINGHAM was initially named for CD A for both days, but has now detoured to join the Hinds at Pukekura Park.

Experienced Cunningham slots into the Hinds for ASHTUTI KUMAR who suffered a leg injury during yesterday's ninth round Hallyburton Johnstone Shield match against Northern Districts.

Cunningham will return from Taranaki to Johnsonville in time for Monday's Central Districts A T20 fixture, while the reshuffle also sees MACY LYFORD join CD A for their one-dayer, covering for Cunningham at Alex Moore Park today.

Central Districts A came away with mixed results from their two T20s and on-dayer against Northern Districts A last weekend in Hamilton, but there was plenty of action.

They kicked off with a last-ball thriller to win the first T20, before ND A fought back to claim the second T20 by six wickets.

In the 50-over fixture the following day, Nelson's ANNA GAGING starred with a superb five-wicket bag up top, en route to her subsequent recall for the Hinds' one-dayers.

But Northern Districts A again managed to recover take the win, for a 2-1 Series rubber.

SAM MACKINDER takes over the captaincy for the upcoming games from KATE GAGING who has meanwhile also returned to the Hinds.
