Two List A debuts will again be on the cards when the Central Hinds play Northern Districts in the Hallyburton Johnstone Shield tomorrow (Saturday) at Hamilton's Seddon Park.
The sixth round of the national one-day comp (the day after Friday's Dream11 Super Smash) is scheduled for 10.30am, with Wairarapa's OCEAN BARTLETT and Manawatu's SAM MACKINDER the uncapped duo named in the Hinds' 50-over squad.
The Hinds also welcome back pace bowler and Nelson rep MONIQUE REES (above) who brings added experience to a squad without MELISSA HANSEN and MIKAELA GREIG who are unavailable with personal commitments, and KERRY TOMLINSON who is playing for Fairbreak Global in Canberra, Australia over the long weekend.
The Hinds have had one win and one match washed out for split points from the first half of the one-day season and are looking to push up from fifth spot on the table through the remaining five rounds, after which the top two teams proceed to the national Final.
The match is FREE admission, with the first ball at 10.30am and livescores and free livestream here at www.cdcricket.co.nz
