A settled CENTRAL STAGS squad has been named for tomorrow's must-win Ford Trophy match at Pukekura Park, the last round of the national one-day regular season before Finals.

The Stags are hosting the Wellington Firebirds in the free admission New Plymouth match, with the Stags, Firebirds and Otago Volts fighting for the last available spot in the Elimination Final.

The Stags have the edge on the points table so, of they can shake off the ninth round blip against the Otago Volts and get back to their winning ways, that spot will belong to the Stags, and they will head off to Dunedin to play either the Auckland Aces or Canterbury in the 2v3 Elimination knockout.

BLAIR TICKNER remains sidelined by injury and the selectors have named an unchanged squad for the match tomorrow (Sunday) in sunny New Plymouth.

Gates open at 10am for a 10.30am start for the 50-over contest, with livescores and a free livestream at www.cdcricket.co.nz for the Stags' last home white-ball match of 2024/25.
