Central Districts Cricket is excited to congratulate Wairarapa College on claiming The Ross Taylor Bat for the 2020/21 season.

This year Hawera High School, Taradale High School, Wairarapa College, Feilding High School, Paraparaumu College and Whanganui High School all took part in the 15-over games held in Palmerston North on 7 April, 2021.

Three teams ended up on equal points - Wairarapa College, Whanganui High and Paraparaumu College - after the round robin games, with Wairarapa College coming out on top thanks to a slightly higher net run rate than the other two schools.

Said CDCA Manager, Community Cricket Nigel Brooke, "It was a great day, played in wonderful spirit, with some competitive games!"
