Background

The Central Districts Cricket Charitable Trust seek your support for a scheme designed to raise funds over the next three seasons in support of the following initiatives:

• Raising total investments of the Trust to in excess of $1 million by 31 July 2012. (The investments currently stand at $610,000).

• The ability to waive the annual junior player levies currently paid to Central Districts by the 8 District Associations.

The total amount raised annually will be distributed as follows:
50% to Central Districts Charitable Trust
50% to Central Districts Cricket Association

The Scheme

In each of the next three first class seasons you will be asked to make donations for scores of 50 plus by CD Stags and Hinds players on the following basis:
Scores 50-99 $2.50 each
Scores 100+   $5.00 each

In each of the past four seasons this would have seen donations of:
2006/07   $155.00
2007/08   $152.00
2008/09   $175.00
2009/10   $197.50

Benefits

On or about 1st January each year two draws will be made for two persons to attend the One Day Internationals at McLean Park.
Australia - March 2010
Pakistan - January 2011
South Africa - 2012

The Prize will include:
Return air fares to Napier (or reimbursed travel costs)
Match Tickets
2 nights accommodation
Match hospitality at official match function

Each participant in Runs for Funds will receive two Season Passes to all First Class Matches played in Central Districts over the next three seasons.
There will be periodic draws for a variety of prizes.
